Sustainable digitalization is crucial to tackling challenges like labor shortages, with the data center industry playing a key role in providing efficient, resilient solutions. As a result, the sector is experiencing unprecedented growth, creating a pressing need for highly skilled professionals to support Europe’s digital future. CEDCE, Colleges for European Datacentre Education, directly addresses this demand by creating comprehensive education programs, from vocational training to higher education (EQF levels 3 to 7). Through close collaboration with leading industry partners and educational institutions across six European countries, CEDCE ensures its programs are aligned with the evolving needs of the sector.
Supported by a €4 million grant from the European Commission, CEDCE equips data technicians, facility engineers, and reskilled employees with cutting-edge skills in critical areas such as AI and cooling technologies. By fostering innovation and driving local economic growth, CEDCE strengthens Europe’s position as a global leader in data infrastructure, delivering a workforce ready to meet tomorrow’s challenges.
