International expertise in data center environments – CEDCE group mobility in Finland! Last week, Ekami hosted the group mobility (European Qualifications framework 4) of the CEDCE project, when 6 Dutch, 4 Portuguese and 6 Finnish students gathered together with teachers to learn together about the practical work of datacenter environments.
The studies were not limited to classrooms – during the week, students worked in classrooms, work halls and the Hamina Exercise Data Center, where students were able to do practical exercises similar to real life in international teams. The joint learning week provided the students with practical skills in the practical tasks of a data center, experience in international teamwork, and an understanding of what kind of skills the critical infrastructure of the future requires.
The CEDCE project builds European cooperation and expertise in the field of data centers, where learning environments, business life and education meet in a concrete way. This group mobility was another excellent example of how international cooperation strengthens professional competence on a practical level.
